Singapore

I came to Singapore in 1981 and worked as Technician for about 8 years. In this period, I lived alone and mostly I spent time in my workplace. Interest to learn the industrial technology and work responsibility were my major parts of my life at Singapore. Reading books in library, walking at calm and green environment, writing letters to family and friends may be my other parts of the life as and when time permits. I really enjoyed my life with great friendship with mixture of various culture.

My way of life....
In these 8 years, my way of thinking gets more and more deep and interesting. I tried my best to support my family and friends at backhome for their reasonable benefits as the main aim of Singapore life. I really enjoyed my Industrial life as if I lived for that!
Here I mentioned as 'reasonable benefits'; it is not having any specific standard. It is up to us to decide which is reasonable and which is not. There is no end to make our life better and better comfort. It keeps improving and improving in this modern technological world. So everyone will have an ambition to have more comfort than what it is. Where is the end for it? I don't know!.
My family people also may have lots of desires, like others. Initially they struggled in the life. Now they are better. Let them also have some more better! (reasonably as far as my concern).
The way of living and way of satisfaction are not having any standard as far as I think. It is purely depends on the individual's mentality and situation. Controlling the situation depends on the mentality.
For me, I may not get really satisfied in any kind of life, since life is not having any reality!.
My singapore life is the great life time in my life. I could simply forget the outside world and work in Presco (Company). Working at Presco was my normal life and that gave a great comfort to me which is not in other normal life. Was like my Home, never thought is a Company work for my earnings. That ends with Presco. never come again! What I mean about the Presco life may not be good for others, but for me.

My Fun Run experience....
In my early school life we just played football, tennis, ring ball and many other local games with friends. After school I never participated any sports activities.
During Singapore festival of arts 1982, I participated with my colleagues in the Festival fun run of 7 km held on Nov 28, 1982. I enjoyed this fun run with my colleagues. I did another 2 fun run of 7 km in some other charity events. Everyday I use to walk lot. But this fun run was different and enjoyable.
In 1987, Singapore Amateur Athletic Association organized a MARATHON which sponsored by Mobil Oil Singapore. We all decided to participate in that Marathon to have a big fun! It is 42.195km! We even practiced everyday to make this long walk success! Finally we completed this great Marathon which held on December 20, 1987.
I completed this Marathon in 5hours 36minutes and 16 seconds. It is a great fun and also tough task. I did! During this fun run I enjoyed calmness in my mind with hard physical attempt. My mind reflected my walk 10 years ago in Trichy, India. (refer my India life writings). Even this fun, made some reflection of my earlier life.
